We're spending a little time i the forest on Cartoon Academy.

And today we're drawing a rabbit.

Let's hop to it.

We will begin with the nose.

It is a triangle shape.

For the eyes.

An oval or letter O shape.

And another right next to it.

Now we add the pupils.

Those are the little dots in the eyes.

One, two.

For the mouth.

We're gonna use an upside down letter Y. It looks like this for the teeth.

We're going to turn that y into a shape that looks like you're drawing a house.

We come down over and up.

And then a line right down the middle.

And a dash.

Now for the head and cheeks.

We come down.

Scribble, scribble, scribble scribble, scribble.

And in.

Same thing on the other side.

This is called symmetry.

Whatever's on the left, there's a mirror image on the right, down.

Scribble, scribble scribble, scribble.

And in.

Now for the ears.

Big floppy ears, We come up, down, up.

And in two more lines.

One, two.

Again.

Same thing on the other side.

In reverse.

Up, down.

Up in.

Connect Rabbits.

Will eat leafy greens like lettuce or grass and many other things.

But carrots are not a part of their regular diet.

That's a common myth create by a very famous cartoon rabbit.

A little fluff of hair on top of the head.

Nice and scribbly eyebrows.

I'm going to shade in the inside of the ears just a little bit.

Just using some line shading.

It's exactly what it sounds like.

Using lines to create shadows.

Excellent.

Now for our little front paws.

We come around and up, around and up.

One, two, one, two for the body.

We pick up where we left off on the neck, back and forth with a little bit of texture.

We want it to look like fur.

Now we had the legs and feet around number two.

But we keep it going and then bring it back in.

Same the other side.

Flip it and reverse it.

Number two backwards round.

Back in.

Toda there are 13 species of rabbits.

Eight of those are cottontails.

Now for the bottom half of the body.

Two lines for the stomach and then paws.

One, two.

One, two.

Some whiskers.

Two.

Three.

Whatever.

It looks right to you.

You could add four whiskers.

Six.

It's your drawing.

Whatever you like.

Lastly, a big fluffy tail.

And then sign your name.

Take pride in your work.

And there's your rabbit.
