Nurses negotiate with hospital to address staffing issue
Nurses at Cooperman Barnabas medical center say there’s a major staffing shortage and it’s creating a heavy burden. Dozens rallied outside the hospital demanding more staff, increased pay and better treatment. It comes as the nurses’ union has been in contract negotiations with the hospital since their collective bargaining agreement expired on Nov. 1.
