That's right.
On this episode of Cartoon Academy, we're learning how to draw a bulldog.
We want to begin with the nose.
The nose is a rectangle, so across down, over up and connect.
We're going to add a little oval here.
Just that a little reflection of light and then fill in all around it.
Very good.
Excellent.
Now for the jowls or cheeks, starting from the top of the nose, we come down, around and up.
It's sort of a kidney bean shape, lower jaw out point, and in.
Now the other jaw or cheek is going to stick out around the other side, starting with the top of the nose.
Come down, around and up, and then we're going to add one tooth right here and a short line there.
Very good.
Next to the eyes, line down and across, line, down and across, down, up, down, up.
Now the pupils one and two.
Next are the little creases in the forehead.
Looks sort of like a litter M shape.
We're going to do two of those.
One more good.
Because of their facial structure, their short muzzle and flat nose bulldogs often have trouble breathing.
This also makes them snore very loud, which reminds me, what do you call a sleeping bulldog?
A bulldozer for the head.
We're going to start about halfway up.
This jowl here.
Come up, and then we're going to add the ear.
It's out, down, up and in.
For the interior or inside of the ear, just two lines, one and two.
Top of the head we come across, and then we add the other ear.
Same way, up, out, point in and down.
Bring it down a little bit more, and then add the interior of the ear.
One, two.
Now for the body, about halfway up, round, and in from this jowl here, round and in the bulldog is the most popular college mascot.
Over 40 different universities and schools use the bulldog in including both Yale and Georgetown.
Now for the lakes down around, there's number five, and up over, down, around and up, over, down, around in the opposite direction and up and connect.
We have one more foot right here, down, around, and up.
Now we had the paws.
1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2.
Lastly, the tail out point in, make that tail wagging and then sign your name.
Take pride in your work.
There is your bulldog, and that's how to draw a bulldog.
