- It starts out with the guitar part and then I add the vocal part.
We'll sit down for practice for the first time and Ryan will already have a drum part.
And I'm like, dude you were listening this whole time.
He has it written, and then Brian adds his bass part to it.
And it's just a cool scene it comes alive.
- We could be considered in the metal category.
We consider ourselves kinda like a hard rock and like metal hybrid.
Just because, some of our songs are extremely metal.
And then some of them are like radio rock.
- There are some songs where I have screaming and singing.
So that's why I like to put the hard rock on it.
(zestful screaming music) You don't scream with your actual singing vocals, it's more pushing from your diaphragm and channeling that sound up over your vocal chords.
Then you get the, (intensive grunt) like you're frustrated that's where it's coming from.
It's just like (strong grunt) The lows that I get out, they get scared They're like, was that her?
- Cause the sound waves start slowing down and getting further apart.
That actually creates this vibration in the stage.
(exuberant singing) - What my band really likes to push is mental health wellness.
I feel like people are sitting behind phones and computers then they are not living their life to the fullest.
- We do a lot of camping, we'll do moto camping.
- I actually have my own business where I sell my own art work.
- [Brian] We also got ATV's like to ride those out in the trails and get them all muddy.
(chuckles) - Her - Yah, I like to up into mud puddles.
- She see's a mud puddle it can be ten feet deep she's driving straight into it.
- Follow your dreams, learn new hobbies, and come out to a show and tell me about it.
Cause that would mean the world to me.
(laughs) (energetic rock music) - (heavy metal grunt) WQED That's how you do it.
(amused laughing)
