UW-Madison Pathologist Alhaji Njai discusses his work on a new Ebola vaccine.
In December of 2018, Ebola vaccines produced at UW-Madison will head to Japan for human trials. Alhaji Njai, a UW-Madison Pathologist, sits down to discuss the work and what he hopes will be the future use of the vaccine. Njai says the vaccine works by targeting a gene that allows the virus to replicate, calling it a "novel breakthrough for the medical world."
