Made with ice cream from Kerber's Dairy in nearby North Huntingdon, the creamy drinks are adorned with colorful candy to create specialty shakes including S'mores, Almond Joy, Salted Caramel, Pina Colado, Unicorn, and Cinnamon Churro. And everything you see here is, well, sweet.
Our biggest seller's gotta be our milkshakes.
I mean, people come in, they have seen them on social media, they've seen pictures from friends, and they just heard about us.
(upbeat music) (whipped cream sprays) - We saw it on a Facebook post, and we said that we need it.
So, we picked a day off and we came on out.
(machine groans) We drove an hour and 15 minutes to get here.
- But of course our candy, too.
People are excited to see things they had when they were children and new fun things.
(upbeat music) (whipped cream sprays) - [Nicole] It's exciting, but our milkshakes are our number one seller.
The secret to a great milkshake is great ice cream.
And we don't have to go too far for that.
- This is Kerber Dairy.
We've been here since the 1950s.
We make 150 flavors of ice cream.
Today, we made Dinosaur Crunch ice cream.
That's our famous blue vanilla ice cream with vanilla cookie crunch.
Starts with 15% butter fat premium ice cream mix, vanilla cookies, pure vanilla bourbon from Madagascar, and very blue food coloring.
We use the Penn State formula developed at the Creamery at Penn State campus.
15% ice cream mix, which makes it very rich and creamy.
- There are probably about like 13 shakes that stay all year round.
Those are the premium ones with lots of toppings.
And then we do have seasonal ones that change with the seasons.
You can come in and eat in here, and you can come in and walk around and shop.
So when it's a rainy day, you'd be surprised because it gets crowded in here 'cause it's something to do that's indoors.
(whipped cream sprays) Once a week, we have happy hours.
It's on Tuesdays from 4 'til 6.

(upbeat music) Candy shops seem to be a place where we can make memories.
(upbeat music) Everybody when they come in for a milkshake is happy.
Everyone's in a great mood.
