- I think we're a unique mix of different styles, that's something we've tried to maintain throughout our years of playing together.

I think that the sort of unique thing about our group is we're able to sort of blend different ideas and different styles and also maybe subvert what the expectation is for a like a rock or soul band and try to incorporate other element from all of our different collective interests, backgrounds, and talents.

I think the thing that made this band complete is just the fact that somehow we are all on the same page.

And that's not easy.

A lot of bands might change members because someone wants something else, and we've gone through that as well.

But we finally got to a place where everybody's just on the same page.

We have the same, like, hey, if we need some downtime, it's not a big deal.

Like, nobody's freaking out about it.

Nobody's saying, hey, you have to go forward.

Everybody's just very cohesive.

And I just think that's hard.

We've been together for, what, 12 years at this point?

- For all of us, I think like we all bring different, to like the songwriting process specifically we'll all bring different ideas.

And I think everybody, it's like you know, I feel like it's our job collectively to say like, that's a good idea, we should explore that, which is a difficult thing to do.
