Brenda Tate: Making a Difference

Brenda Tate was hired in 1974 as a Housing Authority Police Officer and became one of the first female Pittsburgh Police Officer's in 1979. At the age of 81, Ms. Tate reflects on growing up in Pittsburgh's Hill District, overcoming addiction, her remarkable career - which includes protecting notables such as Rosa Parks, and a lifelong commitment to serving her community.
